Breast Cancer Assistance Program At its Columbia, Maryland headquarters, the American Breast Cancer Foundation operates a national Breast Cancer Assistance Program that provides financial assistance for breast cancer screenings and diagnostic tests for uninsured and underserved individuals, regardless of age or gender. Catherine H. Tuck Foundation provides financial assistance covering household expenses for eligible breast cancer patients. The Healthwell Foundation provides financial assistance to those with chronic or life-threatening diseases. Eligible individuals can receive help with copayments for prescription drugs, coinsurance, deductibles and other selected out-of-pocket costs.
Addressing these needs is why the Breast Cancer Assistance Fund (BCAF) was created. Together, we can help these women overcome some of their greatest challenges that can cause even more distress. We work tirelessly to put donations to use in assisting women and their families in paying for things such as medical expenses not covered by insurance to child care costs. Through The Breast Cancer Charities of America’s Help Now Fund Quarterly Grant, we are committed to helping minimize the financial burdens that come with breast cancer by providing financial support to patients undergoing active treatment, so that they may focus on recovery and survivorship.
